Instant Noodles

I ate instant noodles a few days ago then I remembered the guys from the first season. Sigh. Maybe I'll always remember them whenever I eat it. They soooo love instant noodles. Sigh. I don't watch season 2 anymore. Sorry to Suguen, Jongmin and Taewoong and the new guys. I'll just watch very old episodes. :(

Seunggi doing Bokbulbok on The King 2 Hearts?

Well, since I don't understand what he's saying and the streaming site was lagging...Hahaha! Well it looks like it! He's doing a bokbulbok in his new drama! Charades! Let's guess! One word? One day? 1 Night 2 Days? Hahaha! Seunggi-yah must really miss 1박2일! Awwwwwww!!!!

And looky-looky...he's also vain in his new drama...just like how we see him in 1박2일! Hahahaha!



I'll be able to watch the new season this Sunday on KBS World. It would be hard without Seunggi and Jiwon. But there is always a change for everything. I have to start a new life myself as well! Sigh.

That 1박2일 Moment...

Was washing the car yesterday...okay, believe it or not (I have a cold now. Must be the wind)...but the important point is while doing so I had an 1박2일 moment. Well first I was using a hose (duh) and then there was bright sunlight. Then while using the hose I saw a rainbow. Yes, a rainbow (duh)! Then I remembered the Rainbow mission assigned to Jiwon which Seunggi helped to accomplished by using different tactics. I almost cried. But no I didn't. LOL I wanted to take a picture of it but i did not want to risk my camera. Okay...so that was it. My 1박2일 moment.

Hello March!

Hello! To whoever is passing by here...how's your March so far? LOL

1박2일 will start a new season tomorrow...their very first episode without Seunggi and Jiwon. Well I won't watch that yet. I'll just watch the 2nd part of the Gyeongbokgung episode in KBS World. The 1st part made me cry because I was able to visit Gyeongbokgung before. And of course they weren't there that time. Huhu! I'm gonna organize my photos and do lots of screen shots of that episode. Haha! Sigh...makes me wanna go back and find all the treasures they featured.

Well for the new cast members...welcome! But i dunno how I'll welcome them in my heart when I get to watch it. I might not watch it like how I was for season 1. I dunno how I can accept Joo Won as the new maknae. Seunggi will be the forever maknae for me in that show. Joo Won does not project the same aura as Seunggi. I dunno. let's see.

So I'll wait til the end of March till I see the new season.

Now I'm reflecting on my life as well. I'll also start a new beginning soon, just like this show. They accompanied me in my previous work before. I even got to share it with my office mates. As I have shared in my previous post...they made me endure my previous work. Now I'll have to start a new life...hopefully soon. So it really is hard to look at March right now. I love looking at my calendar (obviously I dedicated it to the show) but there is a certain ache that comes with it. The farewell. The farewell to the usual life. Oh well, hoping to start a new life with more love and laughter too, just like the show!

1박!!!!! 2일!!!!!

Last Episode...Farewell my 1박2일

It finally aired. I still can't believe it. I was watching it yesterday...but couldn't do so in private because I wanted the connection to be perfect. So I did not isolate myself in my room and went to our living room where the net connection is at its best. I couldn't scream, laugh or cry. I just held it back. It felt as if they'll have a new episode next week with the five of them. It felt like it was just a normal recording.

Reality sinked-in earlier this afternoon. I was browsing articles in 1n2dfansubs and saw some screenshots of the crying scenes. You see I already saw those yesterday...but seeing those again made my tears flow really hard. So all the tears I held back finally flowed out. Now I wonder how it would feel to see it again on KBS World with the subtitles. If the one without subtitles made my heart ache already...what more when I understand every single word they said? (T_T)

But still even if it was a heartbreaking last...it also gave us good memories until the end. The first part was the best for the international fans! The cake project that Mavic-unnie and Nikki organized to be sent to them was a complete success! It was seen on air! I was happy to be part of that project even for a small percentage. I'm sure everyone who participated were really happy! In my cautiousness not to lose the connection on my iTouch I just savored the moment and did not dare to do a screenshot. LOL But Mavic-unnie surely got the shot!

They also organized the sending of a photo collage! I'm sure they got it too! I also have a spot in that collage. Hihi! So happy! :)

Fan service was really done in this episode. The girls (and a guy) who were partnered with the guys for a MV-like performance were to be envied! Haha! I was thinking if Seunggi can even carry me! He had a a hard time carrying the girl. LOL

After that they played on a swing. Hahaha! Seunggi can't even swing properly! I believe it is way easier to swing while seated than standing...oh poor Heodang...helpless till the end. Hahaha!

One of my fave games were also played as part of their last bokbulbok for sleeping places! Huhuhuhu! The Zombie game! The ever-suspenseful game! It's my dream to play that with my friends too...too bad it did not push through. Hopefully next time? Haha! My friend Shannel said she's too scared of this game! Hahaha! Congrats to Suguen for evading the zombies for a whopping 15 minutes! OMG! That was exhausting for all the guys! My Seunggi just evaded for 5 minutes more but he was the 2nd best. Hihi! But Suguen picked Jiwon to sleep inside as well.

The guys gathered after that and greeted Lee Suguen HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I think that was the only 2nd time that they had a shoot on someone's birthday. The first one was during Seunggi's burthday. A cake was also brought out! You see the cake on the right side in the pic above? I was curious who sent it because a Philippine flag was seen in the cake along with flags from other countries. Sweet! I got info from Mavic-unnie that it was sent from the Jiwonettes along with our cake. Hihi!

I bravely made a screenshot at around 6:14pm PH time (7:14pm KST). I just wanted to show that this was the last few minutes of the show. Well I thought it was going to end by 6:30pm PH time...but oh well...at least I just wanted to remember the last minutes of the show. :(

They showed the best moments of 1박2일 and the most popular ones I think (from a poll). The Hodong-sit-ups-with-Seunggi was hilarious...I think I forgot about that already but it was so cute! Definitely one of the best moments. Then they also showed lots of MC Mong! Sweet!!!! I'm glad they did...after cutting him in his last few eps...he came back even as a memory scene from the Seop Seop Dang shaving scene. Sigh. Good thing KBS allowed that. THEY SHOULD! There was also a scene wherein Suguen was doing a Chinese commentary on the members' Bungee Jumping. I haven't seen that episode...so I'll look for it definitely. Must be one of the old eps. kyaaaahhh! My dream adventure! LOL

Seunggi even made this cute pose with PD Na! I'll miss both of them! Huhu!

The inevitable closing happened. It was unstoppable. They were sharing some thoughts. I might understand all when KBSWorld airs it but it was heartbreaking. My Seunggi was crying...even Eun Choding. Then everyone cried. Huwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!! I don't want to cry now. NO!!!!! (T_T)

Why can't we just pause time for a moment?

Laughter and Tears

It was already aired. The 1st part of the group's final trip! I was able to watch it with no subs so there were parts I could not understand. But hello...the craziest charades ever was done! My gosh! Doing charades on a cable car!!! And imagine two cable cars only meeting at one point and going on different directions...picture it? Yes the one acting and the group guessing were going on different ways!!!! Aaaaaccckkk!!! That was really hilarious! What a way to have it on your last trip. The next bokbulbok was the one wherein they try to be u recognized as long as possible in an old movie theater. They kind of succeeded but there were some mini obstacles. Haha! Here was the heaviest part...while watching a movie it suddenly stopped in the middle then a video of 1N2D was shown. My gosh!!!!!! Super tearjerker to the max!!!! It had old memories of 1N2D...huhu! I think I'm gonna cry again while typing and remembering it. Huhu! I need my tissue again! That was so beautiful! A touching moment in the middle of the mission! How sweet of PD Na and the staff. Huhu! I'll expect more tearjerking moments next Sunday! I'll ready one tissue pack already!!! Huhuhuhu!!!!! Nooooo!!!!

The Last Trip

Tomorrow the whole of South Korea will witness the first part of 1N2D's last trip. It pains me to know it's the last for the five of them but I will join othet fans in watching this episode. Hope my internet connection does not fail me. I wanna watch it live as how it is broadcasted on KBS. The fan projects were a success already, but let's see if we can see it on air! Hihi! Fighting! Next week will be crying time for me and my 1N2D friends! :(

Let me reminisce how everything started with me and 1박2일. Be prepared for my not-so-organized train of thoughts. Forgive me. I just wrote what I felt.

One fine day I was browsing channels and got to KBS World (I wasn't a frequent viewer yet on it) and saw this commercial about guys going on a trip and doing fun things. I also saw them singing. I was intrigued and thought it looks like a fun show. I tried checking the schedule...but it took me a while before I got hold of it.

Finally I saw a glimpse of it. I think it was around the end part already because the guys were sleeping. Then the staff carried the guys one by one out of the house. That part alone was funny already. Their reactions and all. And their faces! Their morning faces! Super funny!

But the episode that really started my love for 1박2일 was the Baseball episode. If I remember correctly it was in Busan. Wow...I only remember the part wherein they performed in the middle of the game but WOW. I'm having goosebumps with it now while typing but I think I felt the heart of this show from there on.



So the names Kang Hodong, Lee Suguen, Kim C, MC Mong, Eun Jiwon and Lee Seunggi were etched on my mind starting that day. Also the loveable Great Pyreness doggie Sangguen. Every week I tried to tag along with their adventures. They took us to different places in Korea, mostly places a normal tourist won't know. They made me appreciate mother nature more. They made my jaw-dropped several times when they showed beautiful places. This show made me love mother nature more and how beautiful the world is as how God created it.



This show isn't your normal travel show. It's also a variety show. They brought many laughs to my life. They made me laugh so hard that resulted in tears. Oh my aching stomach...it happened several times because of them. I usually watch it alone...and imagine...I'm laughing alone! But the heck I care! I love the show...I'll laugh as loud as I want!



The bokbulbok games were also super fun. They gave a new light to games. I've never seen a game of rock-paper-scissors as fun and suspenseful as they have shown! Their charades are the best too! How could I forget the way MC Mong acted out proverbs for the guys to guess? The movie charades was fun too! It gave us a fun idea on how to play it! It was super funny seeing the guys acting out the movies for the other guys to guess!

I got to know new games too because of this show! My most fave and memorable one would be the Shouting-within-Silence game wherein participants wore cute headphones with super loud music and try to figure out what the other guy is saying. I won't forget Seunggi's BI-KI-NI-SHOW...LOL!!!!!! Oh my stomach...I laughed so hard because of it. I also learned about games like Human Zero Game, Senses Game, Strawberry Game, Foot volleyball and the Zombie game! My gosh the Zombie game was one heck of a game! It can make you really scared! haha!



MC Mong even started the variety spirit! They always shouted VARIETY JEONGSHIN! It sort of made me feel the spirit too! I would find myself typing it too as if It's my motto too. LOL



Kim C, MC Mong and Sangguen left. It was sad to see the shades-man go, the monkey go and the cute and cuddly doggie go but they will always stay in my heart. I welcomed Jongmin and Taewoong to my heart. Their addition to the show from what I was used to gave new life to it. I enjoyed it as usual!!! Jongmin was hilarious with his speech antics and crazy movements. Taewoong was the shy guy but eventually made a mark on the show afterwards.





Kang Hodong aka rockhead also left the show just last September. As the main MC it was hard to see him go. His voice always dominated the show. But the five members that were left handled the show well. I missed Kang Hodong but seeing the 5 of them was still fun to watch. There was also PD Na and the rest of the staff. They were like the 6th man on the show.



I discovered this show in the height of my struggle at work. This show was like the shining light of my life every week. They made me endure the hardships and made me think that life is still beautiful. I remember the time especially when my schedule kept changing, and that this show's sched kept changing as well but it was the right sched for me. As if telling me that I can still watch it. Haha! But there also came a time when I wasn't able to watch it for a long...but I soon got back on the adventures.

I would also like to share that this show played a big role on my first trip to Seoul. Haha...yeah big role because I dragged my friend in the midst of a very cold temperature to the KBS building just because of 1박2일. My ultimate goal that time was to have a picture in front of the building because that's where the guys usually do their introductions for each trip. WISH GRANTED! Yeah wish granted and nothing more. My goal was accomplished. No shooting (duh it was a Saturday...I didn't know they shoot on Fridays). No celebrity sightings. NO PEOPLE! Okay there were people but just check my old blog post. It was a holiday so no anything. Haha! But you see I was really happy back then. I stood where the members stood. *cries* Thank you to my friend Maylene for bearing it with me! She got sick afterwards! Oh...this is already 2 years ago! Huhu!





I also remembered going gaga over a toaster in the guesthouse we stayed. Yeah because it was a Homeplus toaster...the store our guys endorsed before. I wasn't able to take a pic of the toaster (LOL), but I was able to take a pic of the store. I was on a bus and luckily I got a good shot of it. LOL







Well another I want to share before I end my post is about Jongmin. He's the only member I got to see so far in person. I was dreaming of seeing all of them, but at least seeing one of them is nice. I saw Jongmin going out of the building after Music Bank. I didn't know it was REALLY Jongmin. You see I know he looked liked Jongmin but I was still doubting. Then a week later I knew he and Shinji were really on Music Bank...so my hunch was correct. Here's my old blog post about it. It was HIM! Here's my screenshot below (the video I uploaded got deleted...ugh). It's not super clear (my cam didn't have a good video quality) but he's the one wearing white with the shades on. I was now sure it was him...but didn't realize it when I was there! Good thing my video cam was on!



I still dream of seeing Seunggi in person! Wish I can see him before my life ends! Waaaaaaahhhh!!! For now I just have to be satisfied with the Seunggi ads I saw. LOL



1박2일 will soon end. Tomorrow (or later rather...they always shoot early in the morning!) they will film their very last episode for Season 1. They made my working life bearable and enjoyable. I would start a new life without them. But all the memories I have of them will remind me how life is always beautiful. I know there would still be Season 2 but that's a different story. Season 1 will always be the best for me. I wish everyone all the best, especially Seunggi-ah.

The last showing of 1박2일 in Seoul will be on February 26. In KBS World we'll still have until March. That's why when I made a calendar for 2012...I dedicated March to the show.



Will I look at March with sad or happy eyes? Let's see! Huhuhuhuhu!!!!

On the bright side congrats to the International fans! #thankyou1박2일 became a Worldwide trend even for some minutes. They really have fans all over the world!



Congrats also for everyone who contributed to the fan project! Writer Daeju received it! Let's just wait the response about it! *excited*

I'll still post here. This will be my official Travel Log. I will still post things here about Seunggi, my travels and about old eps of 1박2일! I'm planning to review the old episodes one by one. Good luck if I'll have the time.

The Countdown Begins...

Today is the day! Variety jeongshin! *crossing fingers* Something special is gonna happen today! We hope and pray for the success! Everybody has worked hard for it! I wish all the best for it! Meanwhile GOODBYE will happen soon...I don't want to cry now so I'll blog about that later! 1박 2일!!!!!

Gyeongju...Wait For Me!!!

If God will give me another chance to visit South Korea and allow me to explore at least one of it's provinces...it has to be Gyeongju! I already fell in love with Gyeongju when our 1N2D members first went there that was unfortunately Kim C's last episode. Now I was able to watch in whole when our five members went back there with the famous professor! I will list every spot and treasure in detail next time. Now I am sad our well-loved variety-travel show is about to end. February 26 would be its last broadcast in Korea! Let's all cry together!!! Huhuhuhu!!! I will make a better entry about it next time. Huhu!
