Finally I had a pic in front of the KBS building! It was a long journey to get there! We originated at Anguk station and had to pass by 9 stations just to get there. Well Anguk was on line 3, so we had to transfer to line 5 at Jongno 3.
And so I thought it was easy when you got there. The directions given seemed like it was easy but NO!!!! We had to find the correct exit, which was bothersome coz the map had different exit numberings compared to the actual exits! So we just had to find the exit where we could locate The Teacher's Pension Fund and The Federation of Korean Industries building. Wow. So after that I thought Yeouido park was just nearby. NOOOOOOO again. It was a long walk to get there.
Just when I thought that the big building with the dome was KBS, I was wrong again. It was the National Assembly Building. Yeouido park was sooooo big, you had to target the leftmost part and walk through the ecological forest. Then after tiring my friend...we finally found KBS!!! Wohoo!!!
I was at awe when I first saw it. It was like a dream. I finally stood where the 1N2D guys stood! There weren't much people, so I had a pic there freely. A couple arrived and had a picture in front of the building too, and went inside. I tried to savor the moment outside first. I tried to shout "Eeeeelllbaaaakk!!! Eeeeeellll!!!!" but my voice was too soft. I was too shy coz there were guards looking around.
After that, we went inside and I approached a security personnel. He was puzzled as I spoke. Then he called someone on the cellphone. I was shocked when he passed it on to me. Then I realized he just passed me to someone who knew English. Then I asked about the tour and he told me it was their nation's holiday. I was sad. he told me if I could come back next week, but I said I had to go home already. Waaaaaahhhh! I just thanked him anyway and gave the phone again to the security.
We just sat inside to rest. All the walk we did was sooo tiring! I just took pics of the lobby (Later on I found out the Viewer's trip participants had a shoot there too) and went outside again. I asked my friend to take pics of me again and tried to make a video. I was still shy. I didn't want to make a scandal. Oh well at least my wish was granted. I hope to see the guys next time. I wish some international fans can go all together so we can stalk them together. Haha!
